Yes, roofers agree that the light color of Tech Wrap products hold less heat during installation, which ultimately speeds the preparation time and aids in timely completion of any roofing job. Not only is the color beneficial for installation it also reduces the heat value of attic temperatures in turn saving homeowners thousand of dollars in heating and cooling bills. The coloration of Tech Wrap is light enough to reduce surface temperature yet not so light in color the underlayment creates an uncomfortable glare or unfavorable working condition. Our synthetics are available in any color for private logo
Tech Wrap utilizes a patent pending anti slip resin coupled with a non woven walking surface that meets or exceeds comparative synthetic roofing products at a fraction of the cost. All Tech Wrap products are also one of the few products in the industry with anti slip on both sides of the product, as most synthetics have walking side only anti slip which allows the synthetic to adhere to the roof deck.

Absolutely, Imagine a 10 square roll weighing 25 pounds going up to the roof deck then being placed on the deck, rolling out at a 48” width, not having to apply chalk lines or having the product wrinkle or buckle, while resting assured the Tech Wrap will be attached permanently allowing you to quickly move onto the next roll!!!!!
Time is money, and eliminating 50% of your prep work by using Tech Wrap allows roofers to get to the job site, complete it and move on. Are you wondering if you should leave the roof exposed with the Tech Wrap? Rest assured it will be there when you come back the next day or 6 months later.
Plastic caps nails are recommended to obtain the best water seal and hold properties yet there are circumstances such as installing metal roofs where plastic cap nails are not recommended as plastic cap nails may create dimples in the metal roof therefore nails maybe used. Tech wrap synthetic roof underlayment can, and currently is, installed with the above fasteners but Robetex, inc. stresses the use of plastic cap nails and roofing nails over staples simply as a safety precaution and to ensure a sufficient seal for water/moisture penetration. If staples are used on our products, or any synthetic the staples edge will tear the fabric creating the possibility of leaks if the synthetic is left exposed. Roofers currently using staples will probably continue doing so therefore they maybe used as long as all applicable safety precautions are being utilized and keep in mind staples and/or roofing nails may not ensure a complete seal in wet conditions and will tear the fabrics therefore should be covered the same day Always practice safety and refer to local code and OSHA requirements during the use of Tech Wrap products.
